Railway Interlocking System

Computer-software interlocking system is responsible for safe control and monitoring of train movement in stations and along railway tracks. The safety and reliability of the system are considered to be the most important features of the system. This system is connected to each and every equipment installed on the side of the rail through interface circuits and built-in drives, and while monitoring their status, it executes the commands sent by the system operator.

The system performs the following capabilities:

• Ability to monitor and control at least 100 needles, signals and tracks
• The ability to control and monitor functions up to a distance of 3 km
• Ability to monitor functions at least 3 times per second
• Maximum 1 second response time for changes
• The ability to self-test and the existence of a system for recording internal and environmental system errors
• High availability and reliability
• Storage of vital and non-vital information of the system in the data registration unit for at least two months
